Located at our Sydney Shelter, the program is packed full of seasonally-themed activities, time with the animals and a behind-the-scenes tour of our shelter and veterinary hospital. Plus, a whole heap of facts about creatures big and small. It’s a perfect day for any animal enthusiast who wants to learn more about the important work we do at RSPCA NSW. Interested in coming along to one of our Family Fun Days? Fill out the form below to register your interest! Who can take part? Everyone is welcome! There is no minimum or maximum age to take part in our Family Fun Days. However, the activities are aimed at children no younger than three years old. We also ask that parents register no more than three children per adult, to ensure adequate supervision during the day. Please note: Our shelters use peanut butter as part of the enrichment program for the animals. If your child or children have allergies, or you have any concerns, please feel free to contact the Education Team on (02) 9782 4478 prior to registering. How much does it cost? We ask for a $10 donation from each attendee to cover the cost of running the program. When and where All Family Fun Days are held at the RSPCA NSW Sydney Shelter, located at 201 Rookwood Road, Yagoona, NSW, 2199. Dates for 2020 to be announced. What to wear For your own safety, we ask all participants to wear the following: Shirt with short or long sleeves (no singlets) Long, sturdy pants (e.g., jeans) Closed-in shoes (no thongs, sandals or ballet flats) Hat Sunscreen If participants are not wearing the appropriate attire, they will not be allowed to participate in some activities. Please be aware that some activities will be held outdoors, so please be prepared for all types of weather.
