RSPCA NSW cares for abandoned, neglected, sick and surrendered animals across the state. category1category2 Reset The Million Paws Walk virtual challenge is live! Date Updated: May 6, 2022 Get moving this May with the virtual RSPCA Million Paws Walk challenge to help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need. To participate in the challenge, register online via the Million Paws Walk website and commit to taking yourself and your furry friend on a daily walk every day this month. Last year, 30,000 dogs turned to the RSPCA for help. Many were victims of cruelty, bred inhumanely for profit, or abandoned by the humans they loved unconditionally. Every dollar raised from Million Paws Walk is vital in providing the animals in our care with a second chance. “Our virtual challenge is an opportunity for people to support Million Paws Walk their own way. Supporters enjoy being active outdoors with their pooch when best suited to their lifestyle whilst raising funds for a very special cause at the same time”, says RSPCA NSW Community Fundraiser Manager, Ben Wilheim. “Each member of our fun and rewarding Million Paws Walk virtual community has access to online fundraising support, and their pups receive toys, bandannas, and personalised leashes when certain fundraising targets have been reached. Now is the perfect time to sign-up and join the fight against animal cruelty.” For those who would like to attend a physical Million Paws Walk on Sunday May 29, 2022, there is still time to register.
