Our Orange Shelter provides shelter and care to animals that can no longer be taken care of by their owners. Animals arriving at shelters come from a variety of sources, including those: seized by an inspector under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1979 surrendered by an owner The shelter offers volunteering opportunities, microchipping services, as well as advice and support for pet owners in the community. There is also an extensive Foster Care program and a small pet retail shop. All animals suitable for adoption can be found here. Where can I see all animals available for adoption? You can see all animals available for adoption here. Why do you charge adoption fees? Animals available for adoption have undergone a comprehensive veterinary check, and have undergone any other veterinary treatment and rehabilitation necessary. The adoption fee helps cover part of these costs and allows RSPCA NSW to continue caring for animals in need.
