Little bit about Dolly, the Rescuoodle

Hi, my name is Dolly, and I am a lovable (and sometimes cheeky) bundle of sunshine looking for my new home.

I am a Lutino Indian Ringneck, which is a bit fancier than a common green Indian Ringneck. I stand out like a beacon in my cage, and you should see how magnificent my feathers look when I sunbathe.

I am used to a human companion and would much rather live inside with you as part of the family than outside in an aviary. I am very affectionate and enjoy having my neck scratched; you'll know when I want some scratches (I sidle up to you and tip my head back reallllllly far).

I am very curious and intelligent and need a large spacious cage with lots of toys and enrichment to keep me entertained. I would also greatly appreciate plenty of out of cage playtime (obviously inside only so I don't escape or get scared and fly away). Like all parrots I may nip or bite sometimes if I am irritated or startled. However, with plenty of love and patience (with some training too of course) I have a feeling you and I can be the best of friends.
