Hello there! My name is Major, and I'm an adorable 18-month-old ginger medium-haired cat looking for my forever home. I may be FIV positive, but that doesn't define who I am! Let me tell you a bit about myself.
Firstly, let's address the FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) diagnosis. While it sounds scary, it simply means that my immune system is a bit compromised. But with proper care and attention, I can live a long, healthy life just like any other cat. I'll need regular check-ups with a veterinarian and a loving family who understands the importance of keeping me indoors to prevent any potential health risks. I will also need to be the only cat in the home to reduce the risk of FIV exposure to other cats.
I can be shy at first, but once I'm comfortable with you, I do get jealous if you're not giving me ALL of the attention. I'm a playful and affectionate kitty with a heart as big as my ginger fur.
I would prefer a home without young children, as their energy might be a bit overwhelming for me.
I have impeccable litter box manners and do my best to keep myself well-groomed, so you won't have to worry about any messes but occaisionally I might need help with grooming as my fur can be quite long. As long as I have a cozy spot to call my own and a family to love me, I'll be one happy kitty.
If you're looking for a furry friend who will fill your life with love and joy, look no further! I'm at the Coffs Harbour Shelter and I'm ready to be your loyal companion and to shower you with purrs and affection every day. So what do you say? Will you be my forever family?
My Adoption fee is $200 and I come desexed and microchipped, with my vaccination, worming and flea treatments all up to date
