Hi folks – I'm Ace.

I'm a Maremma boy looking for my pawfect home. Will it be with you?

I'm looking someone who has breed experience with Maremma's as I show typical breed traits and personality so my new family need to understand how to manage me in a home environment. I was bred to guard livestock so I'm very loyal and friendly to family and friends, but I need a little while to warm up to strangers before they can join my posse. I'm looking for a big yard or acreage where I can relax in the shade whilst overseeing my world. Obviously I would also like to be able to hang out with my new family indoors. I love being groomed and I know how to sit and lie down and shake hands. I also walk very nicely on the leash. The shelter staff are always saying what a clever and gentle boy I am. Oh – and I've lived with children before!

You need to know that I am a gentle and sensitive soul, and I will look to you for guidance and encouragement if I get scared. A quiet, calm home would suit me perfectly!
