Home What we do Training RSPCA NSW Training Team The RSPCA NSW Training Team offers training in a range of accredited and non-accredited courses. These include but are not limited to: Nationally Accredited Training ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal Care ACMMIC401 Implant Microchip in Cats and Dogs ACMGAS206 Provide Basic First Aid for Animals Non-Accredited Training Animal First Aid Introducing Your Pet to a New Baby Vet Nursing Continuing Education All our trainers on the RSPCA NSW Training Team have the required training and assessment qualifications and have many years of industry experience. Our trainers maintain current skills by actively engaging in animal care work. The RSPCA NSW Training Team also deliver training to RSPCA NSW staff and other organisations. If you have any questions about any training requirements other than those listed above, please use the contact details below to lodge an enquiry. Our accredited training is managed through our Registered Training Organisation (RTO code 70238). See the links below for information on these courses. If you are a student undertaking nationally recognised training, you require a USI (Unique Student Identifier) in order to receive your qualification or statement of attainment. If you don’t have a USI, you will not receive your qualification or statement of attainment. For information on how to create a USI and any exemptions please visit www.usi.gov.au. Full payment must be made no less than two weeks before the course begins. Please note that RSPCA Training Team courses are not eligible for VET FEE-HELP. Businesses can opt to receive an invoice when registering staff for animal first aid or microchipping courses. What are the entry requirements for RSPCA Training Team courses? Due to RSPCA policy, students must be at least 18 years old, with the appropriate approval to study or work in Australia. For further details, please see individual course pages. Can I get a job with RSPCA NSW after finishing my course? You can find a list of any available positions at RSPCA NSW here. However, please note that undertaking training through RSPCA NSW or the RSPCA Training Team does not guarantee an interview for a paid or volunteer position at RSPCA NSW.
