The sessions are tailored to specific age groups: 8 to 11 years, 12 to 15 years and 13 to 17 years. The program is running at the Sydney (Yagoona) shelter only. Join us for behind-the-scenes shelter tours, help us create enrichment for our animals and learn more about animal welfare. The aim of the program is to learn about animals and how we can improve their lives. Therefore, in the interest of animal welfare and to prevent unnecessary stress to our shelter animals, participants should not expect to interact closely, handle or pat any of the shelter animals. To register, select your topic of interest and appropriate age group – we can’t wait to see you! Please note: Our shelters use peanut butter as part of the enrichment program for the animals. If your child or children have allergies, or you have any concerns, please feel free to contact the Education Team on (02) 9782 4478 prior to registering. For the safety of our shelter staff, if your family has been in contact with anyone who has a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the past 7 days, is showing flu-like symptoms or has a fever, please stay home. School Holiday Program Cost: Animals at RSPCA NSW = $90 + booking fees. Animal Careers = $100 + booking fees.
