Christmas Toy Drive Posted on December 1, 2017 Are you thinking of ways to help animals in need this Christmas season? Brighten a shelter animal’s day by donating toys for them to enjoy! This December, RSPCA are collecting toys for all the shelter animals that will be spending the festive season in our care. Meet Candy. Candy was surrendered to us in March this year with her brother Billy. Candy would get quite anxious when she was away from Billy, and would rely on her toys to keep her comforted in the shelter. There are many animals like Candy that depend on their toys to bring them joy during this time in their temporary homes. We all shower our pets at home with gifts for Christmas and we believe shelter animals deserve the same. Each year, more than 33,000 animals turn to RSPCA NSW for help. Of course, the perfect gift this Christmas would be for all our animals to find their furever homes. However, having toys donated to them will keep them happy and entertained, making their time with us that little bit easier. Help spread the Christmas cheer to our shelter animals this December and drop off any toys you’ve purchased or have lying around at home at the below locations.
