Corporate groups who made a difference for RSPCA NSW in September

It’s officially spring time! Which means the dusting, the clearing, the cleaning and the organising is in full swing. Thankfully, we had three corporate groups visit our Sydney Shelter last month to help us with all this spring cleaning.

Keep reading to find out about what these superstars got up to.

Teachers Mutual Bank

Teachers Mutual Bank

Earlier in the year, Teachers Mutual Bank raised an incredible $4,000 for us! So it was really exciting to see them double down on their support and help out with a corporate support day.

A group from the company came to the Sydney Shelter to meet the animals first-hand, clean out our stables, walk some dogs and pat some kitties. They also learned more about what we do and what their great fundraising efforts go towards.

We can’t wait to meet the second group of Teachers Mutual Bank corporate supporters in the coming weeks.

Interactive

Interactive

After two successful fundraising events, a team from Interactive came down to the shelter to finish off their supportive streak with some hands-on volunteering!

The enthusiastic group did a great job with all their set tasks, including dog walking and cleaning of the pocket pet enclosures.

One of the Interactive staff were so smitten with one of our bonded pair dogs, Bonnie and Bubs, that they came back on the weekend and adopted them. How sweet is that?!

Swisse Re

Swisse Re

Swisse Re are one of our favourite types of companies — that is, ones who come back time and time again. This was Swisse Re’s fourth time attending a corporate support day, and they came armed with more can-do attitude than ever.

The team asked so many questions at the educational session and was more than happy to set their hands to any and all tasks. We could tell they genuinely loved to help the animals. Thank you, Swisse Re!

We truly value the ongoing support we receive from our corporate sponsors. If you want to learn more about our Corporate Support Days, head here.
