Little bit about Wilma

Hi! My name is Wilma, and I'm a sweet, energetic young pup who's still figuring out the world around me. I'm learning how to meet and interact with other dogs appropriately, but I'm still a bit unsure at times. So, I need a patient family or person who can help me with these experiences, making sure I have positive interactions with other dogs as I grow and learn.

I’m still a little nervous about being left alone, so I would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. I don’t love being by myself and need to gradually get more comfortable with that, but with some guidance and patience, I know I’ll get there. A home where there’s someone home often would make me feel much more secure.

Because I'm still a young puppy, I'm also a bit shy and can get nervous at times, so I would prefer to be in a home with calm, understanding children—ideally, kids over 12 years old. They need to understand how to interact gently with me, as loud or fast movements can make me feel unsure.

I’ll be growing up to be a large dog, so having someone experienced with big breeds would be ideal. They can help me learn how to navigate life in my bigger body as I mature and grow into it, ensuring I stay well-behaved and happy as I get stronger.

As a young puppy, I need plenty of mental and physical stimulation to help me grow into a well-rounded dog. Regular walks, fun playtime, and training sessions are essential for me. Mental exercises, like puzzle toys or learning new tricks, will keep my brain engaged and help me burn off some of that youthful energy. Positive reinforcement and gentle guidance are the best ways to help me develop into the great dog I’m meant to be. So if you're ready for the adventure of raising a sweet young pup like me, I’d love to meet you!

Lots of love, Wilma xo
